Albany County launches new mental health social media campaign

May is "Mental Health Awareness Month."

Albany County is launching a new social media campaign exploring mental health topics.

County Executive Dan McCoy released his first video series on this. He wants to raise awareness for mental health and substance abuse challenges and educate the public.

The theme for this year’s mental awareness month is "Together for Mental Health."

McCoy says no goals will be reached in one month. So, the county will post videos twice a week through the month of May, and once a month for the next year.
