A Queensbury man is guilty of child pornography charges.

Wesley Guard, who is a registered sex offender, used the Kik messenger app to receive child pornography, said federal investigators.

Guard then sent the images to another Kik account he controlled. The material guard received included videos depicting the sexual exploitation of young children.

He was acquitted on charges of distributing pornography, but found guilty of receiving, transporting and possessing child pornography.

Guard faces up to 20 years in prison.
