Albany International Airport open during snowstorm
The snow removal team at Albany International Airport is working hard to keep the airport open.
The team started clearing snow at 9 p.m. Monday night, the airport said. They’re responsible for clearing runways, taxiways, gate areas, along with parking lots, roadways, and sidewalks. That’s the equivalent of 120 miles of single-lane highway, according to the airport.
A handful of flights has been cancelled or delayed. Travelers should check their flight status and plan ahead before heading to the airport.
