Autopsy results released on Monday confirmed the body pulled from the Mohawk River on Feb. 22 was the missing 14-year-old.
Her body was spotted by two fishermen. Police haven’t yet declared publicly if a criminal act led to Samantha’s untimely death.
She went missing on November 25.
Samantha’s family is asking people to wear black or purple attire for the memorial service to match the theme of Samantha’s vigil and birthstone.
