Troy man pleads not guilty to child prostitution
A Troy man is pleading not guilty to sex trafficking of a child.

The Albany D.A. tells us Waverly Pleasant—also known as Savage— pleaded not guilty late Thursday afternoon.
He is accused of advancing or profiting from the prostitution of a person under the age of 18 during the end of October last year at The Red Carpet Inn.
The indictment charges him with one count of sex trafficking of a child and one count of promoting prostitution.
He is being held in jail pending a formal bail application.
