Outdoor dining, shopping and community programming are coming to life in downtown Troy.
The city shuts down the streets around Monument Square from Friday night through Sunday morning.
The idea was born when the pandemic started, and this allows restaurants to expand outdoor seating during the summer and provides room for family fun.
There will be something for everyone, including live jazz on the corner, pop-up activities, concerts and more on the city’s historic streets.
"Troy is a year-round destination and outdoor summer dining adds to the visitor and resident experience and strengthens our small business community," said Kate Manley, president of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber Of Commerce.
"Troy has something for everyone – from our unique boutiques, selection of eateries, and outdoor dining and entertainment – so, come enjoy Troy this summer season!"
