VP Harris calls Gillis family

Vice President Kamala Harris called the family of Kaylin Gillis on Wednesday evening.

Gillis, 20, was shot Saturday evening when a car she was riding in turned into a wrong driveway in Hebron.

The man accused of shooting her, Kevin Monahan, 65, is in the Warren County Jail without bail.

Gillis’ death comes as one of many across the country under similar circumstances.

A teen in Missouri was shot in the head after going to the wrong home to pick up his younger brothers.

A teenager cheerleader in Texas was shot after mistaking which vehicle was her ride home.
