First on 13: Nauman Hussain won’t seek bail in Schoharie limo crash conviction

Nauman Hussain, the man convicted of 20 counts of manslaughter in the limo crash that killed 20 people in Schoharie, will not seek bail.
Hussain’s attorney, Lee Kindlon, said he’s changed his mind and will not submit a bail application on behalf of his client.
Kindlon said he’s holding off on a bail application pending an appeal of the conviction.
“Good things done well take time,” Kindlon said. “Right now, we are considering the best approach to bail pending appeal. Rather than rush to get something submitted, it’s in the client’s best interest to do it well.”
Hussain will be sentenced next Wednesday and faces as little as probation to as much as five to 15 years in state prison.
