Deputy in Clifton Park shooting recovering from shattered femur

NewsChannel 13 working to get an update on the condition of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Deputy who needed surgery after being shot earlier this week.
The deputy underwent surgery to repair a shattered femur.
Another deputy was shot in the chest, but is OK because of his Kevlar vest. He was treated and released from the hospital.
The shooting happened early Tuesday morning at Fox Run Apartments in Clifton Park.
Investigators were executing a warrant. The suspect they were searching for, Anthony Zaremski, opened fire on the deputies. He died in the gun battle.
