Capital Region to host variety of 4th of July events
Independence Day is just a few days away.
If you’re looking to celebrate, there are a lot of fun things happening around the Capital Region.

The city of Amsterdam is hosting its Independence Day Festival.
It will be from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Riverlink Park Monday evening.
There will be food trucks, drinks specials, a water show, live music, and fireworks to cap off the night.
In Schenectady County, there’s a free family-friendly event at Mabee Farm in Rotterdam Junction.
it’s from 5 o’clock until 9.
There is no charge to watch the fireworks.
You are encouraged to bring a blanket to relax on the lawn, and enjoy live music and a fireworks show over the Mohawk River.
Saratoga Springs is hosting an all-American celebration on July 4.
There will be the annual firecracker four road race and a family friendly concert, as well as fireworks to end the night.
The race begins at 9 a.m. at the Saratoga Springs city center.
There will be live music and fireworks at Empire State Plaza on the fourth.
Music starts at 8 p.m.
Fireworks start at 9:15.
There will also be drinks, pony rides and a bounce house for kids.
