Cohoes flooding closes major stretch of road
While much of the Capital Region escaped the worst of the flooding that hit other parts of the state and the Northeast, it hasn’t gone completely unscathed.
There are barriers up on Route 32 in Cohoes between Tibbits Avenue and Bridge Street. That’s a main stretch of road.
NewsChannel 13 spoke with Cohoes Mayor Bill Keeler on Tuesday morning. Two feet of water rushed onto the road, he said.
NewsChannel 13 went there and saw that cars are still able to pass through, but travel in that area is restricted as workers fix the road.
