Hampton man accused of holding victim hostage during domestic dispute

A Hampton, Washington County man is facing charges after allegedly holding a victim hostage.

New York State Police arrested the man after the scene in the Washington County town.

The call was for a domestic dispute, police said.

Ernie Dalaba and the victim were fighting, according to police.

During the fight, he threatened the victim with a knife and guns and held the victim hostage, investigators said.
The victim was able to get away.

Dalaba was arrested and brought to the Washington County Jail.
