Stephentown road reopens after beaver dam collapse

Garfield Road in Stephentown has reopened after a dam collapse forced the road to close last week.
The dam failure on private property damaged sections of County Route 26.
Traffic is now allowed to pass through, Rensselaer County said.
Preparations are being made for paving and other improvements on the road.
