Registration opens for the annual Malta 5K and 10K

Registration is open for an annual race in Saratoga County that benefits veterans and first responders.

It’s the annual Malta 5K and 10K.

Event founder, Paul Loomis of the Roundabout Runners Club, is excited for the race which is set for September 9 at Hudson Valley TEC-SMART in Malta.

“The Malta 5K and 10K supports local EMS first responders, the two fire departments here in the town of Malta, Alliance 180 and the Malta Veterans Appreciation Program.” Said Loomis. “We do this every year in support for 9/11 and those who served us and those who will continue to do so.”

Now in its 14th year, the event has raised well over $300,000 since its inception to support Malta’s emergency first responders and area veteran’s agencies. You can click here to register for the races.
