Boy, 16, to be charged as adult in North Troy shooting
The 16-year-old boy accused of shooting Alexander Crawford last month is being charged as an adult.
Crawford was shot in front of the Family Dollar store in North Troy on July 2.
He was shot for sticking up for his son, who he believed was being bullied, police said.
The indictment – handed down in front of a judge on Thursday – includes two counts of murder.
