One year marked since discovery of missing Shaker teacher’s remains
Wednesday marked one year since police confirmed the remains of missing teacher Meghan Marohn in Berkshire County.
Marohn – a teacher at Shaker High School in Colonie – went missing in March of 2022 during a trip to Lee, Massachusetts.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Boston identified her remains through dental records.
However, the medical examiner was not able to determine her cause of death.
The examination did not reveal any pre-death trauma, according to the medical examiner.
There were flyers near where Marohn was found that said she was murdered, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
There is still no evidence that suggests any foul play, authorities said.
