Niskayuna welcomes back first through eighth grade students

Niskayuna Central School District welcomed back its first through eighth graders on Wednesday.

A recent U.S. News & World report ranked Niskayuna third among Capital Region districts. 

Superintendent Carl J. Mummenthey said that teachers in the elementary schools will introduce a new mathematics program and the district also provides great course options in science, technology, reading and mathematics and fine arts. Niskayuna is also undertaking a major capital project.
