Chestertown man admits to having child porn
A Chestertown man has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.
Peter Bratis, 43, admitted in U.S. District Court in Albany that he used a Google Drive account to store images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct between Feb. 24, 2021 and Aug. 4, 2022, according to a news release.
Bratis has a prior conviction for second-degree rape in Glens Falls. The victim was 15 years old, according to the sex offender database.
Bratis faces a term of between 10 to 20 years in prison when sentenced on Jan. 12.
