Two people allegedly drove with blood alcohol levels 3 times legal limit
State Police have arrested two people for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol level about three times the legal limit.
Jason P. Lafond, 45, of Rotterdam, was stopped on Altamont Avenue in Rotterdam on Sept. 15 at about 9:10 p.m. for multiple traffic violations. He was transported to the State Police station in Princetown, where he recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.25%. The legal limit is 0.08%.
Lafond was issued tickets and is due in Rotterdam Town Court on Oct. 5.
On Sept. 16 at about 1:19 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on Lake Shore Drive in Lake George for traffic violations. Jake A. Arbogast, 22, of Crofton, Maryland was charged with DWI. He recorded a BAC of 0.23%.
Arbogast was issued tickets and due in Lake George town Court on Sept. 28.
