Samaritan Hospital celebrates employee who’s worked there 60+ years

Samaritan Hospital in Troy is celebrating an employee who’s worked there more than 60 years.

Catherine Mangione’s first day was March 11, 1963. She said she once wrote out charts with a quill pen and ink pot.

She’s spent her entire career in patient registration and patient access.

She has no plans to retire anytime soon, she said.
