A vigil for Charlotte Sena’s safe return at Mt. Zion Church was interrupted Monday evening when news broke that the 9-year-old girl was found safe.
The pastor there said he was they were hoping for a miracle and when NewsChannel 13 broke the news first that she was found he just smiled and said we got it.
NewsChannel 13 was the first to break the news and it hit everyone like a wave. You could see the look of shock on their faces as they were taking that in.
Some knew Charlotte, but most were just parents who couldn’t imagine what it would be like if their child went missing. There were tears of joy, some claps, and you could just feel the shift in atmosphere.
