A new quilt is being raffled off to keep the memorial honoring the victims of the 2018 Schoharie limo crash alive.
Twenty people were killed when the limo lost control and crashed in the Apple Barrel parking lot on October 6, 2018.
The memorial is in the store’s parking lot with flowers and footprints honoring each person. It’s a place of reflection and memory.
The quilt includes a lotus in the center, which has become a symbol of hope for the families at the memorial.
Sharon Aitchison and her friend, Susan James, helped lead the effort to put it together.
Tickets are $10. You can buy them at the Apple Barrell store.
