Police: Albany man had crack

A 30-year-old Albany man was arrested for allegedly possessing crack.

Detectives stopped Damien Carter in the area of Clinton Avenue and North Lake Avenue on Oct. 18 at around 10 a.m. as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police said they found Carter with a quantity of crack cocaine.

Carter has been charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and sent to Albany County Jail.
