Welding competition at Hudson Valley Community College
The NYS Steel Fabricators Association held a welding competition at HVCC.
The first New York State Steel Fabricators Association Welding Competition was held at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) Saturday. HVCC students enrolled in the Welding and Fabrication associates degree program and non-degree students enrolled in welding and fabrication courses participated in the event.
Students’ welds were judged using evaluation rubrics and visual examination. The competition was held at the Lang Technical Building and Gene F. Haas Center for Advanced Manufacturing Skills.
