Tractor-trailer catches fire on Thruway in Selkirk

A tractor-trailer caught fire on the Thruway in Selkirk on Tuesday evening.
The fire began shortly before 10 p.m. near mile marker 139.6 northbound.
A number of firefighters responded. The fire was under control by around 1 a.m.
There are no reports of injuries.
NewsChannel 13 has reached out to police for more information on what was inside the tractor-trailer and a possible cause for the fire. We’re waiting to hear back.
