Greene County man admits to having cocaine, weapon
A 24-year-old Greene County man has pleaded guilty to drug and weapons charges in federal court.
Atniel Pagan, of Catskill, admitted that he possessed 225 grams of cocaine and 22 grams of cocaine that he intended to sell at an apartment in Albany, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Pagan, who is a convicted felon, also admitted to possessing a loaded semiautomatic AR-style rifle to guard against potential theft of drugs.
Pagan faces at least 5 years and up to life in prison and a fine of up to $1 million when sentenced on March 1, 2024.
