Colonie grad, 25, running hundreds of marathons
Mike DeGeorge of Colonie in an ultramarathon runner. Those are marathons with more than 26.2 miles.
Mike DeGeorge of Colonie is a marathon runner.
The 2016 Colonie High grad began running just four years ago.
He’s already run the equivalent of around 225 marathons this year.
His main goal is to qualify for the USA National Long-Distance Team. DeGeorge must hit 145 miles in 24 hours to do that. He hit 137 miles in his past two races.
