The journey will soon begin for the two trees that will be decorated for the holidays outside Empire State Plaza and the state Capitol.

The tree at the plaza is coming from the Stack Family in Waterford. It will be transported to the plaza on Tuesday.

The tree that will be on display in East Capitol Park is coming from the Keefe Family in Watervliet. That tree will begin its journey on Nov. 16.

The lights will turn on for both trees Dec. 3 during a festival with fireworks.
