Troy man admits to robbing farm

A Troy man has admitted to stealing from a Saratoga County farm and threatening employees with a weapon.

Michael D. Hepp, 34, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Monday to a felony third-degree robbery charge. Hepp was arrested on July 17 after police said he stole money from the Hayner Farm in Halfmoon just after 8 a.m.

No one was hurt.

Hepp was found nearby.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 22.
