Testimony expected to conclude Wednesday in Albany murder trial

Testimony in the murder trial of Iaeir Robinson had not wrapped up on Tuesday and will continue into Wednesday.

He’s accused of killing Ahsid Hemingway Powell.

Hemingway Powell was found dead in her apartment on Old Hickory Drive in May 2022.

She was a well-known LGBTQ activist, who had just graduated from UAlbany and wanted to become a physician assistant, her mom said.

Closing arguments could begin late Wednesday afternoon or Thursday, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
