A Scrooge may be on the loose in Vermont.

A viewer in Shaftsbury sent NewsChannel 13 a Ring camera video of a person taking Christmas decorations.

The nearly 90-second video shows a person unplugging holiday lights and deflating a red blowup, probably a Santa, from the front yard. The thief then takes everything – even the extension cord.

He is wearing a gray jacket, black cap and has a mask covering his face.

The time stamp on the video puts it at about 1:52 a.m. on Tuesday. 

The Bennington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it is investigating the theft but had no other details at this time.
