Man admits to stealing $1 million from Polish American Citizens Club
A former member of the Polish American Citizens Club has admitted to stealing more than $1 million from the organization.
A former member of the Polish American Citizens Club has admitted to stealing more than $1 million from the organization.
Kenneth Frodyma, of Feura Bush, pleaded guilty this week in Albany County Court to second-degree grand larceny.
Frodyma was the financial secretary and treasurer for the organization from 2017 to 2021.
He wrote unauthorized checks and made withdrawals from the club’s accounts that totaled $1.29 million. The club provides support to the local community and makes annual donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
His sentencing has been adjourned for one year to allow him to pay restitution. After that, he faces up to four to 12 years in prison.
