Massive fire in Stamford under investigation, Red Cross assisting residents
A massive fire that happened Friday evening in Stamford is under investigation.
A massive fire is under investigation in Stamford in Delaware County.
The fire started around 6 p.m. on Main Street. Photos were provided by two Stamford residents.
Firefighters were on the scene all night getting the blaze under control.
The village opened the Churchill Gym for anyone displaced by the fire who needed a place to stay.
NewsChannel 13 was told the Red Cross will also be assisting people today in Stamford.
The mayor said the city is doing everything to help the displaced residents of the damaged buildings.
