Man, kittens, snake involved in Schenectady fire

The Red Cross is helping one person after a Schenectady fire.

The fire broke out at 1522 Foster Ave. around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

One man, was inside, along with at least one kitten and a snake. The man had minor injuries and decided not to go to the hospital after being treated on scene. It’s unclear if the kitten and snake were hurt.

The home has some smoke and water damage, but firefighters said it is salvageable.
