Two sisters charged in Pittsfield stabbing
Two sisters are facing felony charges in connection to a stabbing that happened last August in Pittsfield.
Debora Ramos, 19, allegedly stabbed a man who was dating her ex-girlfriend. Her sister, Tatiana Ramos, 21, is also facing charges, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle.
The 23-year-old victim told police he was walking on Springside Avenue on Aug. 28, when a sedan pulled up and someone inside asked him who he was looking for. Then, someone came up behind him, grabbed his arm and stabbed him, The Eagle reported.
The sisters were arrested in September and then a grand jury handed up felony-level indictments in November.
Both suspects pleaded to charges of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury.
Debora remains in jail and Tatiana was arraigned earlier this week and released.
