Police: Hudson Falls woman possessed stolen car

A Hudson Falls woman is accused of possessing a stolen car.

Amy Purner, 40, was arrested on Dec. 2.

State Police were patrolling around Route 9 in Moreau around 12:40 p.m. when they noticed an empty car that had been reported stolen from South Glens Falls the evening before.

While investigating, they found Purner, 40, had driven it, they said.

Purner was charged with criminal possession of stolen property. She was arraigned in Moreau Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
