Schenectady man wins $10 million

A Schenectady man won $10 million on a Cash4Life ticket.

Robert Goldup recently claimed the ticket for the Sept. 19 drawing.

He bought five sets of numbers for the drawing, using the same five numbers for each main spot, and a different cash ball for each game.

Goldup won a first prize worth $7,000 a day for life and three second prizes worth $1,000 a week for life.

He opted for a lump sum payment of $6,479,964 after required tax withholdings.

The ticket was bought at the Speedway on Curry Road in Schenectady.
