TGI Fridays in Stuyvesant Plaza has suddenly shut down.

A sign posted on the door reads “at this time, this location is permanently closed.” It doesn’t give a reason.

However, a write-up in Nation’s Restaurant News says 36 underperforming TGI Fridays are closing across the country.

The sign on the now shut-down location sends customers to the Fridays in Clifton Park and Saratoga Springs.
