DOT crews getting ready for first big snowfall
DOT crews preparing for the storm
Crews across the state are preparing for this weekend’s snowstorm.
The state Department of Transportation will have more than 3,600 supervisors and operators available.
DOT will also have more than 1,600 large plow trucks and 52 tow plows on the roads.
“We’ve already been treating the roads with brine coming into this,” said DOT spokesman Josh Heller.
“We’re certainly ready to go and feel and feel very confident that the plows will be ready to keep up with whatever snow eventually come,” Heller went on to say.
