Animal rescue center has new furnace after successful fundraising appeal

AnimalKind has a new furnace, thanks to the generosity of everyone contributed to their cause.

Last week, the Hudson-based animal rescue organization put out a call for donations after their furnace broke and kittens and staff were left without heat.

Over $20,000 was contributed to a GoFundMe.

On Monday, the organization announced on its Facebook page that the new furnace was delivered and is being installed.

“Tomorrow our kitties (and staff) will be warm again — ONLY because of YOU! What an amazing community! We love you!”
