Two people are facing assault charges for allegedly beating a man last month until he fell unconscious.

State Police said Evan J. Hendricks, 30, of Rensselaer, and Clint Clark, 31, of Cohoes, arrived at a home in Sand Lake uninvited and struck the victim multiple times outside. They then left the area before police arrived.

The victim was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Henricks and Clark have each been charged with assault. They were each arraigned in Sand Lake Town Court and released to the supervision of the Rensselaer County Probation Department.

Both men knew the victim, police said.
