Arrest made in Hoosick Falls three-month-long narcotics investigation
The Hoosick Falls Police Department arrested Kandie L. Stowell, 39, on Friday for possession of narcotics, concluding a three-month-long investigation.
Stowell was found with 4.3 ounces of cocaine and fentanyl, an explosive device, drug paraphernalia, scales and drug packaging, as well as $2,400, said Hoosick Falls Police.
She was charged with the following:
- Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A felony)
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class B felony)
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (class D felony)
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A misdemeanor)
- Criminal possession of a narcotic drug (class B felony)
Police say Stowell was arraigned in the Village of Hoosick Falls Court and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail without bail.
