Mister Bill’s Carhop looks to the past for fresh look
Mister Bill’s Carhop is going old school.
Bea Greenough, the owner of the Moreau restaurant, said the business opens for the summer season in April, staff will be dressed in 1950s attire and music from the ’50s and ’60s will be played. There will also be Elvis tribute artists, decade-themed nights with contests to win prizes and period motorcycle and car days.
Since buying the iconic fast food joint in August, Greenough has installed a new parking lot, new siding, kitchen equipment and ice cream machine.
The menu also has been revamped but old favorites remain.
Future plans include adding a covered pavilion, so customers can hang out even when the weather isn’t perfect.
The restaurant is open for business year-round. People can visit the window for order pickup and delivery.
