Albany County Executive gives State of the County address
Albany County Executive Dan McCoy said the state of the county is strong.
McCoy touted the county’s accomplishments over the past year, including investments in the arts and solar energy at his 13th State of the County Address. The event was held on Thursday at MVP Arena.
McCoy also announced a $1 million partnership with the Workforce Development Board for on-the-job training programs.
He said 2024 will be the most transformative year to date. The county will continue to make investments in health care and he is taking the lead on the demolition of the Central Warehouse building.
