Police in North Greenbush are warning people about paving scams.

Officers say there are scammers who will ask to be paid in cash, then either do a poor job or don’t do any work at all.

Police said there are a few ways that you can protect yourself. Always ask for a picture identification and business card and look up the company online. If you’re unsure, can call North Greenbush Police to have them come by for a check.
