Investigators: Nelliston man hit victim with shotgun during domestic fight
Man accused of attacking person with shotgun during a domestic incident at Palatine home.
Police have arrested a Montgomery County man for allegedly using the outside of a shotgun to hit someone during a domestic dispute.
Christopher J. Smith, 34, of Nelliston was arrested on Sunday, according to investigators.
Smith faces several charges, including assault, menacing, weapons possession and child endangerment.
He was arraigned in Palatine Town Court and sent to Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail. He is due back in court at a later date.
