Downtown Albany is hosting a viewing party that might make it more convenient for people to catch the solar eclipse.

The city’s Eclipse Day Celebration, on the Albany Skyway starts at noon and goes until 4 p.m.

The first 500 people will get eclipse glasses and Park Albany is serving free popcorn.
It’s free to attend.
