State budget now three weeks late
Lawmakers still working on spending bills to pass $237 billion budget plan.
Budget negotiations continue at the state Capitol in Albany.
As NewsChannel 13 reported earlier this week, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the framework of an agreement with legislative leaders on key issues such as affordable housing and addressing the recent influx of migrants.
The process had a setback, when the system used for printing legislation was shut down due to a cyberattack.
The $237 billion budget, which is now nearly three weeks late, must pass the full Senate and Assembly to be finalized.
