Schoharie limo company operator’s court appearance moved to school to handle big crowd

The man accused of causing the deaths of 20 people in the 2018 Schoharie limousine crash is preparing to appear in court on Thursday.

Nauman Hussain’s attorney says he anticipates a resolution in the criminal case Thursday afternoon.

The 1 p.m. appearance has been moved to Schoharie Central School to accommodate a big crowd, including the families of victims.

Hussain, who owned the faulty limo, is charged with criminally negligent homicide and manslaughter.

Attorney Lee Kindlon isn’t saying how his client will plead, but has told NewsChannel 13 before that he will not accept any deal that includes jail time.
