NewsChannel 13 has obtained videos of the moments leading up to and after a shooting in Troy that injured two teen girls early Sunday morning.

The shooting took place just before 1 a.m.

The mother of one of the girls told NewsChannel 13’s Tessa Bentulan that her 11-year-old daughter was shot and her 14-year-old friend was shot.

The video shows some people hanging out by the door of the two-story brick home. In the second video, around a minute later, you don’t see anybody anymore, but the door is still cracked and then it slams shut. Then, about 30 seconds later, all the lights in the building are shut off.

The mother of the 11-year-old said she was shot in the leg. The other girl had a bullet graze her head. They are expected to be OK.

Police are looking into the shootings. They believe it was an ongoing dispute between the people involved.

Mayor Carmella Mantello and Troy Police Department put out a joint statement on the incident.

“Mayor Mantello, Police Chief Dan DeWolf and the administration are outraged by this incident, especially considering it targeted children. The City will do everything in its power to find those responsible and ensure that justice is served. Our detectives are working diligently to follow various leads and ask that anyone with pertinent information call the Detective Bureau at 518-270-4402.”
